This is the 1000th post I've made on this blog. I think this is a fitting time to usher out the old and bring in the new. This is the old apartment I had in Seattle after I moved everything out and put it in storage. Only the big items I left behind are in these two photos. I lived in this studio apartment on Capitol Hill for 16 years! It was a great time, but I was ready to move on. Let the new adventures begin.
Now I live in this apartment in France. This is the balcony with a visiting cat. I am so happy to have a piece of the outdoors to enjoy (as the cat does).
This cat we've named George. We also have Martha, Chaos, and Stubby living in the 'hood.
Congratulations, Maya! This is quite an accomplishment. I'm very proud of you.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 1000th post, Maya! Do you miss Seattle? Love the floors in your old place, looks like a nice cozy apartment; linear living. However you're in France, how can you beat that?!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on 1000 posts. That is an accomplishment! I love the pictures of your old place -- especially the door arch off the kitchen and the colors. It looks so comfortable, yet stylish.
ReplyDeleteEven that tiny (and quite cool!) place has a FULL-SIZED FRIDGE! :-)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 1000!

1000th! OMG that is fabulous. And such wonderful photos of many journeys.
ReplyDeleteLovely new and sentimental old.
1000 post I can't even begin to contemplate how long that will take me. Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteCongrats there. I've got a long way to go, and I think I'm getting further behind.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 1000 posts! And thanks for clearing up a bit just where it is that you live. I wasn't sure if you were visiting France or had planted new roots. Seattle says Hi.
