The radiators in the new apartment are a bit higher than the old one. Not quite as good for resting your chin on.

Hallstatt IX

Untitled
Our first day in Hallstatt was overcast and rainy, so we decided to go to the museum which was very interesting. Hallstatt is known for its production of salt, dating back to prehistoric times. It is often linked to Celtic, Proto-Celtic and pre-Illyrian peoples in Early Iron Age Europe, c.800-450 BC. Some of the earliest archaeological evidence for the Celts was found in Hallstatt. The next several posts are photos from inside the museum.

Hallstatt, Austria

Untitled
We made it to Hallstatt in the afternoon. We lucked out and got the last remaining room in a quaint B&B. This was our lovely view.

Moving Up

Untitled
This month we moved into a new apartment in the same building, but up four floors. Now we have spectacular views and it is great for watching the weather!
