Les Jardins de Vullierens, Switzerland
In May, we celebrated both our birthdays by going to see the Iris gardens at Les Jardins de Vullierens in Switzerland. The gardens are next to a chateau in the vineyards above Morges and Lake Geneva. It is a beautiful location and we had exceptionally good weather to stroll through the gardens and eat brunch in the outdoor cafe. A perfect day to celebrate!

Azay-le-Rideau, Loire Valley, France
Our next stop would be the Loire Valley to see some châteaux. The first one we saw was Azay-le-Rideau. Unfortunately, we arrived too late to go inside, but still walked around the gardens a bit.

Oysters in Cancale, Brittany, France
Our next stop was Cancale, Brittany. This town is known for it's oysters and our traveling companions had to stop and try them! You can eat them right on the beach.
