We were lucky enough the next day to have our B&B hosts let us come along on their personal expedition to the Ile De Groix for a birthday party. We took a ferry over to the island with them and their friends, hiked around the island, and had a wonderful lunch in a village on the island. This is a sailboat seen from the ferry on the way over.

Our next stop was an Abbey nearby. Unfortunately, we were too late to go inside, but we took a lovely stroll around the surrounding park and gardens.

The Church of Our Lady was stunning. Full of beautiful stained glass. Such a jewel to run across in this tiny town!

Next we drove up the road to Kernascléden. A tiny town with a really cool old church. Here is the creperie which was closed, alas.
