The bells! The bells!

I wanted to capture the fact that Prague is not only a feast for the eyes, but also for the ears!

Hiking the Toblerone Trail

No, this is not a trail of chocolate. It is, however, a hiking trail that goes along a defensive line that the Swiss set up during WWII using "dragon's teeth" which look like pieces of the chocolate.

The Garden Store

We went to Schilliger in Gland, Switzerland the other day and they had out all this picturesque squash. I couldn't help but snap a couple of shots. Charlie can only come in the store if he rides in style!

Polo!

We went for a walk in the Versoix forest and were surprised to come out of it onto this meadow where people were playing Polo!

Chamonix, France

We finally made it up to Chamonix for an afternoon with our friends. We found the town underwhelming. Next time we must go up one of the gondolas and perhaps go for a hike. I think that is where the attraction of this area lies!

The apartment we rented in Prague had this beautiful wooden ceiling.

We met a relative of mine at this brewery/restaurant for lunch before flying back to Geneva. Good food and good company! If I hadn't been trying to get over a cold and about to get on a plane, I would have also enjoyed the good beer!
