Some of my family came to visit on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and we took a walk on this amazingly beautiful day. Here are some apples that one of the farmers just tosses aside. I'm not sure why, but there is always a pile here going rotten.

Brunch

Last weekend we decided to check out the shops in Carouge in Geneva with a couple of friends. The shops stay open on Sundays before Christmas (everything is normally closed on Sundays). We also stopped by ô calme for brunch. It is a cute little place. We will probably go back!

We went to Basel to visit the Christmas Markets. We also stopped in this liquor store called Vom Fass. They have all sorts of liquors you can buy and fill your own bottles or buy one of their fancy ones in the store.
