At the end of May we traveled to Croatia and visited Plitvice Lakes National Park. This was my second visit to the park, the first being in 1988. The beauty of the natural landscape has not changed, however, the number of tourists has increased greatly! Charlie managed to walk the entire loop trail with us, though it was difficult for him because much of the trail is on uneven wooden paths. We started the walk by riding a boat across one of the lakes.
