Bastille Day

Last July 14th was Bastille Day in France. We watched the Ferney fireworks from our balcony. The moon was competing with the fireworks!

Ferney Fireworks!

Last night Ferney had a fireworks show for Bastille Day. We didn't know exactly where they were going off, so took shots from a parking lot. Unfortunately, there were trees in the way and I think we were a bit too far to take great shots!

Happy Bastille Day!

Today is Bastille Day in France. Last night we went to a BBQ in Prevessin and watched the fireworks display. They do theirs a day early because our city of Ferney puts on their show tonight.

Bastille Day

We are living on the French side of the border near Geneva, so got to experience the Bastille Day fireworks by stepping out of our apartment door. This was quite unexpected, so the shots aren't great (no tripod).
