Today Janet and I went back to Annecy and shot some video of the light show. It did not turn out very well as I was using my small camera, but this will give you and idea of how it was moving at least.

The Hotel de Ville in Annecy was putting on a spectacular light show this year because it is the 2012 Village des Alpes.

Friday Night in Marseille

Last weekend, we made a trip to Marseille, France. It is the second largest city by population in France and has been designated as the European Capital of Culture in 2013. We had an amazing couscous meal which, unfortunately, I did not get photos of, but Janet did. The place is called La Kahena, and I highly recommend it!

Lyon, France

A few weeks ago, we visited Lyon, France. Lyon is supposed to have the best food in France (better than Paris even) and I have to say we were not disappointed in that respect. Lyon is like Paris' creative, rebellious, little sister. It's gritty and artistic and I'd very much like to go back when the light is better! This building is the Hôtel de Ville.
