Time To Eat

This was one of the turtles at the Tortugranja Turtle Farm on Isla Mujeres. Visitors could feed them these little pellets, so I think they were eating all day long.

Daaa Dun. Daaa Dun. DaDun DaDun DaDun

This poor little shark was kept in a small penned in piece of ocean and would hide in the corner until this kid would retrieve him and hold him up for tourists to see. I guess it gave me an opportunity to see him up close, but I still felt sorry for him!

Shell Haven

There were many shells of various kinds to be seen on Isla Mujeres. You would see kids collecting shells along the beach for their parents who would later sell them to the tourists.

These were all taken along the sea wall in Isla Mujeres.

Guarding the Graves

These iguanas were sitting on the cemetery wall in Isla Mujeres. They seemed to be analyzing me to see if I was trouble or not.

Neither rain, nor hurricane, nor too much sun...

This is how the mail gets delivered on Isla Mujeres. I imagine most days it's a pretty good job!

For the Armchair Traveling Foodies

Chips and various kinds of salsa and spicy sauces.

Coconut Shrimp. I can't even tell you how good the above dishes were! This was just one of our many lunches on the island.
