La Maison Kammerzell

The Kammerzell House is one of the most famous buildings in Strasbourg and is one of the most well preserved medieval civil housing buildings in late Gothic architecture in one of the areas formerly belonging to the Holy Roman Empire. The building's inside has been decorated on all floors with frescoes by Alsatian painter Léo Schnug (1878-1933). It now houses a restaurant which we ate in for one of our meals. The food was only OK, but the atmosphere made up for it!

Christmas on Steroids

We drove to Strasbourg for a few days earlier this month to see the Christmas Market(s). We actually saw 9 different markets while we were there! Our first venture out was during the day and it was slightly foggy which made for some interesting shots of the Cathedral.
