Steven Soderbergh

Today I went to the WHO to see the filming of one scene from the upcoming movie: Contagion. The film has many big name stars, but the only one who came here was Marion Cotillard. She is playing a Doctor who works at WHO. The film is directed by Steven Soderbergh, so I got a few shots of him as well.

I love how she wears the fuzzy slippers until she has to put on the high heels!

More Campus Wanderings

Japanese Garden

On the way to the cafeteria every day we pass by this Japanese Garden. It's such a peacful place, I thought I'd take a few photos.

WHO HQ main building

The World Health Organization is headquartered in Geneva. The main building was designed by Swiss architect Jean Tschumi who died before it was built making it the last building he ever designed. It was inaugurated in May of 1966 (that would be the month and year I was born!).
