Two Things Challenge: Music/Control

Both shots taken in Ribeauville, France. I think it must take a great deal of control to stand in these nests!



The Piper is the symbol of Ribeauville and you see statues of him all over town.

Winter in the Alsace, France

Happy New Year! Continuing with my end of November trip, we headed to the Alsace to get jam in Niedermorschwihr. Here are a few shots from that town.



Flowers are replaced with decorations.

































Next we headed to Colmar. It was bitterly cold, so we rushed through the Christmas Market (which we were not that impressed with) and I only took several photos of the town.

Pipers seem to be the town mascot. That and the storks that inhabit the nests on the roofs.









A wonderful wine and liquor shop. We bought some Poire Williams.
