Madrid II: Plaza Mayor
The next few shots were taken in Plaza Mayor. It is a beautiful and very large plaza completely surrounded by a building and full of life.

Madrid, Spain
In October, we traveled to Madrid. We spent one evening and one morning there before moving on. The old town is beautiful, but crowded!
This is the symbol of Madrid taken in Puerta del Sol. The next few shots are taken in this plaza.
Puerta del Sol is a popular meeting place and is the Kilometre Zero (km 0). There is supposed to be a plaque showing this exact spot, but we never found it.
Are you sensing a theme here? Smoking is still very popular in Spain.
