We took a long weekend and drove to Provence to visit some German friends who have a vacation house there. They call the place, "Les Wittlaeriens."
This vase used to sit in my German grandfather's backyard. I'm glad to see it has found such a beautiful new home!

It was very peaceful there (except when we were eating dinner and drinking copious amounts of wine and champagne)!
