French technique

This is how they color hair in France. At one point I thought I might suffocate under the saran wrap! The color turned out well, but I'm still having trouble finding someone over here that knows how to cut curly hair!

Maya find someone with curly hair you like and ask them who does their hair.

I tried coloring my hair once. Big mistake. Wrong color. Have though been toying with trying it again. Maybe something more extreme like Sesame Street blue or green. Must be post birthday influence...

Glad yours turned out well!!

@ Cele: I think Maya has asked every single curly haired person in Geneva and they've all had little to recommend. Personally, I'm advocating that we both just shave our heads completely!

Cheryl: I've done my hair fun colors like that as well. I enjoyed it. This time was just regular blonde highlights. Nothing to crazy!

Cele: As Janet says, I've been trying that method. It's not working. No one here seems to know anyone that cuts curly hair well!

Very cute! One of my closest friends has curly hair and she hasn't found anyone in LA area who can cut it either. But she has just changed from being a redhead to streaky blond and it looks great.

Tash: Tell her to get the book "Curly Girl." It is my hair bible! I finally found someone in Seattle who uses her methods and my hair was looking great. But, now I'm here and can't find anyone again! arghhhhh

Tash: Also, blond streaks are a great way to highlight the curls (I get them too)!
