Alsace: Ribeauville
We headed over to Ribeauville next. It's a cute little town which embodies the feel of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. If all the tourists were not there, it would be even better! We may have to go back in the dead of Winter.

Alsace: Bergheim
Next, we drove to Bergheim where we went to see another jam lady. Here is a glimpse of this cute little Alsatian town.
We ate at this place called the Wistub du Sommelier. The foie gras here is excellent!

Alsace: Niedermorschwihr
Rachel's visit would not have been complete without a visit to the Alsace. She knew about the "jam fairy" also known as Christine Ferber and wanted to visit her store. Her store is located in Niedermorschwihr, France. Here are her jams as well as some shots of the town.
A sign honoring the 28th infantry division who liberated the town during the battle of the Colmar pocket.

Happy Turkey Day!
For those of you who celebrate Thanksgiving by eating a turkey, I thought I'd share some shots of some of these birds (plus a few chickens thrown in for extra fun). We picked up two turkeys last week for our early Thanksgiving celebration directly from this farm in Crozet, France.
The view from the farm.
