The next day we took the cog train all the way up to the Jungfraujoch which lies between the Jungfrau and the Mönch Alps. It is the highest train station stop in Europe, so they call it the "Top of Europe." It's elevation is 3,471 meters (11,388 ft). The train goes through a 7.3 km long tunnel. Not easy for someone with claustrophobia! I was glad when we got to the end!
These shots were taken on the way up. This shot is from one of the stops in the tunnel where they put in a window and you can see out onto this glacier.
