Glacier Tunnels
Every year they bore a new tunnel into the glacier for people to go inside. You can see the old tunnels in the photo. Also, note how thick this glacier is by comparing it to the size of the people in the photo. We climbed down about 450 stairs to get to the entrance (then had to climb back up afterwards)!

Mer de Glace, Chamonix, France
Next we headed up the cog train to see the Mer de Glace glacier. Fortunately, the sun came out. What a stunning view!
