Glacier Tunnels

Every year they bore a new tunnel into the glacier for people to go inside. You can see the old tunnels in the photo. Also, note how thick this glacier is by comparing it to the size of the people in the photo. We climbed down about 450 stairs to get to the entrance (then had to climb back up afterwards)!

Les Gorges de la Jogne II

The gang's all here.

Charlie managed all the stairs like a champ!

You had to go through a few tunnels.

Scary eyes on Erik's backpack.

Isenfluh, Switzerland and spiral tunnel!

A friend recommended that we stay in a town called Isenfluh. We drove up to it, but alas, everything was already booked. Here are some shots of the tiny town and view as well as a video on YouTube that someone took of the drive back down the mountain on the one lane road and through the spiral tunnel. Quite an adventure I tell you!
