Alamo Flowers

The grounds of the Alamo provided a feast for the eyes!

Back to our regularly scheduled program...

I have my photos back, so can continue on our journey through the South! We arrived in San Antonio in the late afternoon and were hoping to get to the Alamo for the good light, however, the city had other plans: Fiesta! We got redirected away from the Alamo due to a fiesta parade, so we had to go the next day with boring light. This was the best I could do under the circumstances.

Mission Concepción

The other mission we visited is called Mission Conception. It, too, looked beautiful in the evening light.

Mission San Jose y Miguel

We managed to drive down to the Missions in San Antonio just in time for the early evening light. Beautiful!



We spotted another Padre.






This snake didn't like the look of all the people hanging around and headed right up a tree!
