A little quiet time

This couple seemed to be taking a break from the hectic scene in the French Quarter. Don't worry, I should be moving forward on my trip photos again once I retrieve my photos off of Janet's computer!

100 Strangers Series: 3

This is Natalie who is a native of New Orleans. She lives and works (at her own gallery) in the French Quarter and loves it. She is very friendly and stopped to talk to us as we were passing by.

Here is her gallery. It wasn't open yet (she was still drinking her coffee or tea when we saw her in the morning), so we couldn't go in and peruse. Judging by the website, her work looks lovely!

The French Quarter

The French Quarter in New Orleans did not disappoint when it came to beautiful buildings with iron work detail. However, I could have lived without the filth and certain smells of Bourbon street!

A visit to the French Quarter would not be complete without a visit to Cafe du Monde for beignets!

Photo Friday Challenge: Casual

These two were casually strolling by all the Hustler magazines on display on Bourbon Street in the French Quarter of New Orleans.
