Prague XLIII: Old Jewish Cemetery

We visited the Old Jewish Cemetery after our tour. Apparently it is not allowed to destroy graves or remove tombstones, so when space ran out, they would add dirt to make another layer and the tombstones would be taken out and added to the new layer, thus making them get all bunched together.

Ghosts in the cemetery.

4th of July, Geneva style

Shortly after arriving in Geneva, it was the 4th of July and I went to a party of ex-pats who were celebrating. This was a kosher meal and tasted delicious! Technically, we are actually in France just over the border from Geneva. Many people work in Geneva, but live in France where it is cheaper.

All the children (and a few adults) tried out the sparklers.
