Shortly after arriving in Geneva, it was the 4th of July and I went to a party of ex-pats who were celebrating. This was a kosher meal and tasted delicious! Technically, we are actually in France just over the border from Geneva. Many people work in Geneva, but live in France where it is cheaper.

All the children (and a few adults) tried out the sparklers.

A couple of ghosts jumped on the trampoline.

We were in England for one 4th of July. I wore a little flag pin, but that was about it. Wouldn't want to remeind the Brits of what they lost.
July 4th in a foreign country is always an interesting affair. I enjoyed this BBQ a lot and your photos of the kids with the sparklers are great!
Linda: That was probably a good idea! We had a BBQ at someone's house and most of the folks there were Americans. Some of them had just come from the States and brought the "special" 4th of July plates!
Janet: Thanks! I liked some of the other shots of the kids better, but didn't want to post them without permission. In this one the child is unrecognizable.
