Hallstatt IX

Untitled
Our first day in Hallstatt was overcast and rainy, so we decided to go to the museum which was very interesting. Hallstatt is known for its production of salt, dating back to prehistoric times. It is often linked to Celtic, Proto-Celtic and pre-Illyrian peoples in Early Iron Age Europe, c.800-450 BC. Some of the earliest archaeological evidence for the Celts was found in Hallstatt. The next several posts are photos from inside the museum.

Paris: Musée Rodin (Outside)

The Rodin Museum was one of my favorites. His work just astonishes me!

These two shots were taken on the walk to the museum.

Lyon II

We stumbled across this courtyard with some great statues. I think it belongs to a museum, but we didn't have time to go in.

What do you think her story is?

Oops, caught!

Also caught, but in a different way.

Alas, poor Yorick...
