These are my two digital cameras. Most of the shots I take are using the Point and Shoot since I can fit it in my pocket. I'm looking for a new one, however, since this one is quite a few years old and I know I can do better. The Nikon is fairly new, but I still have to learn how to take shots as well as I could using my film camera. The menus are intimidating!

Nikon D40X

Canon Powershot. This little guy has seen a lot of action including two river trips down the Grand Canyon!

We also have a Canon point and shoot camera Canon A710 IS. Great little camera that fits in you pocket. I know what you mean about the DSLR. Read the owner's manula, take 4 aspirin, then read it again. Then have two glasses of wine. small print and unintelligible jargon will give you a headache. ;)
Hahaha. That is good advice!
I'm thinking about getting a new point and shoot. I'm having trouble deciding between another Canon or going with a Nikon so at least the menus are similar.
