We had Pussy Willows in the ditch behind our house when I was growing up. When they got fuzzy like this, it was a sure sign of Spring (as well as the flowers you see below)!
d.c.: I was struck by the light too. Last week had some nice sun (though still cold). Today it POURED which should help with the pollen situation. :-)
movielady: Yes, I've finally learned how to manipulate that little thing which makes it hard to buy a new one (I just can't decide what to get). I really need one, however, 'cause this one is dying!

Love the back lighting on the flowers. And that last shot of the crocuses is really lovely. Did you use fill flash? The lighting is fabulous.
Here's to warmer temperatures! (On the other hand, the cool temps and rain keep the pollen count down. Just sayin'...)
