Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception

This church is full of amazing mosaics which represent different cultures from around the world. We took a tour in which our tour guide moved very quickly, but was a hoot. I'll have to go back if possible so I have more time to take photos.

Inspiring photos, timely for Holy Week.

That's a very nice picture of Marylin, esp. given the story she told about her Irish ancestor in the Chapel to Our Lady of Ireland. I think she'd like it! She's my favorite tour guide in the entire Basilica.

Dusty: Good timing indeed!

D.C.: I took it for this very reason!
