Château de Chambord
Too bad about how the light is hitting the painting, but I liked the furniture and wallpaper!

Torino VIII: Reading Club

We went to a wonderful old building which houses the "Reading Club." You can sit in one of the rooms provided and relax with a book, or find a corner to chat with a friend over drinks from the bar. They were restoring the ceiling in this room.

The menu at the bar. I took this shot especially for my book club friends since we read Italo Calvino in our group.

Český Krumlov V: Wall Art

Fake
Fake window.

The buildings are painted on the outside in very interesting ways. Some optical illusions, some Trompe-l'œil.

The Palais des Nations (UN) in Winter III

This ceiling was created by Spanish abstract artist Miquel Barceló. I love all the colors and textures. Some of the paint looks like colorful stalactites.
