Against All Odds

You have to wonder how some plants make it! Here is an example of some of the plant life I saw in Sedona.

Seen at the Chapel.

Chapel of the Holy Cross

We visited the Chapel of the Holy Cross while in Sedona. This chapel was built in 1956 from the design of Marguerite Brunswig Staude, a student of Frank Lloyd Wright. The Chapel is beautiful and different and the view is also spectacular!

Some people feel the need to compete with the landscape. One view from the Chapel.

Sedona

A trip to AZ wouldn't be complete without a visit to Sedona!

A trip to Sedona isn't complete without getting ice-cream! We always did this when I was a kid, and I don't mind keeping up the tradition!

Sedona - Morning Light

Back in Flagstaff the birds were loving the bird bath.

And so does the squirrel!

Sedona - Evening Light

We drove down to Sedona and spent the night there. We sat on the balcony and looked at the view while drinking our beer. It doesn't get much better than this!

I saw this little guy before we left Flagstaff.
