We had a "pet" spider for awhile, but eventually one of us had to go, and we are bigger!

Abbey of Bellelay

We stumbled across this Abbey in Switzerland on the way home from Basel this summer. We decided to take the small roads home and ended up on quite an adventure. Tiny roads through gorges and up mountains. We decided after all that driving to take a break at the Abbey. It's gardens had some interesting art which is seen here.

Restaurant Les Cépages

My post from two days ago featured photos from the after dinner tea and sweets at Restaurant Les Cépages. Today I will show the rest of the story. It is a Michelin star rated restaurant and the food lived up to the hype. I think the birthday girl, Sue, and all her friends had a good time!

I think it fitting that on this momentous date, I show the flower clock in Geneva to represent time. I'm sure there are many weddings taking place on this special date as well, so the flowers are also a nice touch for all the people getting married today!
