Rob: This is what you see when you exit the Union Station Metro stop and take the escalator to the exterior of the station. If you take the escalator to the interior of the station, it's a different view. Perhaps that's what you remember?
Maya: I love the nearly B&W quality of the building, which makes the colorful coats on the people pop. Very nice.

cool portico photo. It's been years and I vaguely remember the D.C. Metro, but I can't recall this.
I believe they recently renovated the whole station, so maybe it looks different from when you were there...
