Freiburg Münster - The Outside

I took a few photos of the outside of this amazing cathedral, but it was too cold to stand around for long. We had to go inside to warm up (there was actually heat inside!).

I've never seen a water spout like this one!

When the church was built guilds donated money. As a courtesy water spouts representing the guilds were inserted along the roof and directed towards the guild buildings built around the church. Except one all guilds in Freiburg donated money and the certain spout is directed to the cheap guilt which has not donated anything.

Lordy, it was cold that day, but you did a great job getting some good shots. That one of the reverse gargoyle is fabulous!

Fantastic cathedral, love the architecture. I think I found my favorite water spout.
