Freiburg, Switzerland

One day last summer we met our friends from Basel about half way in Freiburg. We spent a few hours there walking around and looking in the church. Alas, it was a rainy day and my photos did not turn out too well.



























This guy was walking by with a phonograph. I wish I had had more time to take the shot, but he was moving quickly so it ended up blurry.

A few shots from November 29th in Freiburg, Germany. This was my friend's birthday, so I dedicate this post to her. I hope she had fun "Glühweining" her way through the Christmas Market!






Selling all things "bee" related. I remember having a beeswax candle for Christmas most years.



The kids find it magical (some of us adults do too).



J and I celebrate our anniversary each year by riding a carousel if we can find one. This year, the giant swing ride did the trick as a stand in.

I took a few photos of the outside of this amazing cathedral, but it was too cold to stand around for long. We had to go inside to warm up (there was actually heat inside!).
