Ilanz, Switzerland

We drove to Ilanz one day while in Graubunden. It is the bigger town in the valley and we needed to do a bit of shopping.

Is this the crosswalk?

The breakfast we ate before heading into town.

A green egg, where's the green ham? Interesting walkway along the rails. Osha would have a field day if that were here. ;)

What the heck did they do to that egg? Looks like something out of Willy Wonka!

I remember some of the cool ways they coloured eggs in Germany when I lived there, I never did learn the trick.

I love the train station pictures.

@Rob: All over Europe is an OSHA violation just waiting to happen. It's what you get when you have a society that isn't overpopulated with lawyers and prone to sue at the drop of a hat. (I just read in the Xenophobe's Guide to Americans last night that the U.S. alone has over 1 million lawyers--70% of the world's supply! How crazy is that?! In D.C. alone there's 1 lawyer for every 19 residents. And more than half of Congress is made up of lawyers [not to mention lawyers in the White House and all departments of the government.] There's our problem: too many lawyers! LOL.) And now I've hijacked this comment thread... Sorry, Maya.

Ahem...

Great photos! Love the black and white treatment on the train tracks and that little building along the city wall in Ilanz was tres cool!
