Coleville-sur-Mer, Normandy, France

Next we went to Coleville-sur-Mer to see the American cemetery. It was quite moving to see all those white crosses. This water feature and map were at the entrance to the cemetery after you go through the museum (and security which is depressing). The cemetery is above Omaha beach which you can see on this map.

The Tourist
On our way back from the Canary Islands, we stopped again in Madrid for a night and part of a day. We visited this beautiful park with some interesting sculptures.

Playing Ping Pong in the Park

These ladies were playing ping pong in the Jardin du Luxembourg Park which is a beautiful place to do many different activities or just relax and take it all in. It surrounds the Luxembourg Palace.

Exercise class.

A great place to study the map and see where to go next!

It's also a good place to stop and review the photos you've taken so far.

Guarding the Palace.
