Bern = Bear

We spent the remainder of the day and early evening in Bern before heading back to Geneva. Bern means bear in Switzerland and they have had a bear pit (the Bärengraben) with real bears since the 16th century. Here are a few photos taken around the old town.

Playing Ping Pong in the Park

These ladies were playing ping pong in the Jardin du Luxembourg Park which is a beautiful place to do many different activities or just relax and take it all in. It surrounds the Luxembourg Palace.
