Badenweiler, Germany

Untitled
To celebrate both of our May birthdays, we took a small trip to Badenweiler, Germany for a couple of days at the end of that month. Badenweiler is a spa town and has not only current hot springs made into baths, but ruins of Roman baths as well. It is peaceful and pretty with parks and walks in the surrounding countryside. We both enjoyed our time there.

Playing Ping Pong in the Park

These ladies were playing ping pong in the Jardin du Luxembourg Park which is a beautiful place to do many different activities or just relax and take it all in. It surrounds the Luxembourg Palace.

Exercise class.

A great place to study the map and see where to go next!

It's also a good place to stop and review the photos you've taken so far.

What to do when the sun comes out? Sit in a dark theatre of course!

Tonight I was waiting for a friend before the SCCC's (Seattle Central Community College) 2008 Film and Video Showcase where the students get to show off the films they made. They were amazing as usual! It's clearly a good program. I wish I could do it! Outside of the Broadway Performance Hall is a statue and park where I took these photos. Oh, and did I mention, the SUN finally came out? This makes picture taking much easier!
