Wintertime in Freiburg, Germany

A few shots from November 29th in Freiburg, Germany. This was my friend's birthday, so I dedicate this post to her. I hope she had fun "Glühweining" her way through the Christmas Market!

J and I celebrate our anniversary each year by riding a carousel if we can find one. This year, the giant swing ride did the trick as a stand in.

Winter in the Alsace, France

Happy New Year! Continuing with my end of November trip, we headed to the Alsace to get jam in Niedermorschwihr. Here are a few shots from that town.

Next we headed to Colmar. It was bitterly cold, so we rushed through the Christmas Market (which we were not that impressed with) and I only took several photos of the town.

We saw this mural in Basel which seems to be a tribute to many great musicians. I thought it would be a good series for people going out tonight. But, even if you are staying home, put on some good music and ring in the new year in style!
