Today we traveled with our friend, Kim, to Bern to see their Christmas Market. I have to say I was a bit disappointed. It was bigger than some, but not so "Christmas-y" as others. I did like the Christmas trees in the windows of this building!

Wintertime in Freiburg, Germany

A few shots from November 29th in Freiburg, Germany. This was my friend's birthday, so I dedicate this post to her. I hope she had fun "Glühweining" her way through the Christmas Market!






Selling all things "bee" related. I remember having a beeswax candle for Christmas most years.



The kids find it magical (some of us adults do too).



J and I celebrate our anniversary each year by riding a carousel if we can find one. This year, the giant swing ride did the trick as a stand in.

Montreux: Ferris Wheel

We rode the ferris wheel at the Christmas Market as well. It was COLD up there!

We went to the Christmas Market in Montreux. It was crowded and not as nice as the one in Basel, but still a good time.



One of the best things about going to a Christmas market is having a cup of hot gluehwein!
