I need all the luck I can get!
A friend gave me this little horseshoe. It was quite a challenge pinning it right side up!

wandering the 'hoods
This was seen in the Wallingford neighborhood. I was up there to see the movie Doubt. This movie provided some very good discussion with my friend while driving to our next destination.
We drove to the Seward Park neighborhood next to do some food shopping at the PCC, but first we had coffee at Cafe Vita. I loved this place. The barista was very nice and he was playing Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley. It really fit the mood with the darkness and rain pouring down outside.

Slumdog Millionaire
This was an amazing film. The cinematography was fantastic. You will never look at Who Wants to be a Millionaire the same way again!
After the movie we ate at the Deluxe. I've always admired the red pool tables there.

Snowpocalypse '08
My friends coined the term above and I think this Christmas will forever be known by it. I haven't left my apartment today and guess what? It's snowing again! This shot was taken from my window.
Merry Christmas!
Christmas is essentially postponed for me this year due to weather conditions. I did, however, have two presents to open. One was a red robe and one was a maroon sweater. These gifts were perfect for me as I'm loving red these days. Of course, I also got my new lens for Christmas, but that was back in October so I've been enjoying it for several months now!

Sun and Snow
The sun came out for about 5 minutes today, so I dashed out of my apartment (working from home again) to snap these shots!

Two Things Challenge: Cloud/Nine
It took me ahwhile, but I finally found a count of nine!
I actually had exactly nine Christmas cards in my card tree!

Snow Day in Seattle
These Great Danes were enjoying the snow!
I stopped by the Elysian for beer and food with friends. These are all the beers they have on tap. I had the Bifrost.

Rosebud! The preferred mode of transportation these days. Though I've also seen skis, skates, and snowboards.
The firemen sled on shovels and garbage can lids while waiting for a call.
Sledding down the street.
One of the main thoroughfares with no car traffic.

Heading for Sledding
I took a break from working at home today to go to the Post Office and take a walk around the block.
Mission Accomplished!
City Light
Post Office Line. Yup, it's the Holidays! Not even icy roads will keep these people from mailing their packages.

Fun in the Snow
It snowed in Seattle which is a rarity. I worked from home today, but took a break to go out and take these photos.
Snowalien
I also saw someone ice-skating on the street in front of my building last night!
Watching
This little hummingbird was braving the weather to find food!
