Heading to Taos

The scenery was fantastic!

We saw this cute old church on our way, so stopped to take photos.

mi gosh you can even see the texture in the adobe. I love the solitary cross picture. Beautiful, simplistic, full of colour.

This is the first time I'm seeing these photos. They're fantastic! Well done.

Cele: I like those shots too for the same reasons.

Janet: Thanks!

All the photos are so good and the 3rd one is really artistic. I really get a sense of place through these.

Tash: Thanks. I really enjoyed this stop we made. I like seeing little things like this along the road that most tourists miss!

You are my kind of traveler, then. I am enjoying these shots so much. Probably one of the appeals is I don't have to put up with the heat to see them. After a zillion trips down into the Mojave to see/take care of my folks, it will be a long time before I'm enticed back into that climate. So, thanks for making it painless! :-) These shots are gorgeous.

Kim: Thanks! I'm not a big fan of the heat either and I recommend going to New Mexico in the Spring. It's not too hot at that time. You may, however, have to deal with some pretty wicked storms! We drove through one and it hailed on us pretty hard. Other than that, we had wonderful weather. It wasn't too hot except on the top of the Acoma Pueblo where there was no shade.
