We went to the Christmas Market in Montreux. It was crowded and not as nice as the one in Basel, but still a good time.
One of the best things about going to a Christmas market is having a cup of hot gluehwein!

You might very well be able to get on as a guide with Rick Steve's company ... never hurts to ask if that's something you think you'd like to do.
looks like a great time. I should try the mulled wine sometime.
Love mulled wine, but someday I must try a roasted chestnut.
