Possible Two Things Challenge: Textures/Shapes

This might be hard to see, but it is a tile in the Pioneer Square Station of the Bus Tunnel. It is smooth glass in a wavy square tile making an interesting reflection of the building on the other side.

Soaking up the Sunshine

This is a mannequin outside of Utilikilts in it's new Pioneer Square location. These are sturdy kilts made with many pockets and loops meant mainly for men who work outside doing things like construction. I've seen quite a few of them around the city.



I had both today. This is the sign in the new location for Cocoa Banana. They have a great salad bar and smoothies or juices making it one of my regular haunts during the day.

New Boutique Store

I found this new store called Gems in Pioneer Square today. The space is designed beautifully! I also really liked the artwork.

Two Things Challenge: People/Watch

I've been trying to get shots for this challenge ALL WEEK, but with no luck. It's a tough challenge for me. As a general rule, I don't take people shots for the blog because I feel like I'm invading people's privacy and I don't have enough of a zoom to take shots without them knowing it. As a result, I take the shots very quickly and they are alomst always blurry because I don't have time to steady myself before they see me, or move, both of which ruin the shot. Here are two mediocre shots I took today in Pioneer Square park next to the Pergola. This is a good area to catch people watching other people because it's tourist central! I may get some better ones before Sunday. We'll see!

Mooooooo

This group of tourists is on the Underground Tour which takes place in Pioneer Square. This tour is quite fun and I recommend it when you visit Seattle. Also, if you want to spice it up a bit, try the Underworld Tour. When you are a local, however, it can be a challenge maneuvering around the crowds!
