A day for the animals

Bird's Nest. Apparently, the spikes aren't working very well! This is just above the escalator coming out of the Pioneer Square Station.

Taken at the Waterfall Park.

There were more dogs out today than I've ever seen at the dog park on Capitol Hill!

aeliyneFor the birds! Those spikes work, except the birds nest where the spikes end; as we see here. Ha, you caught that husky in action. ;)

No lens today. Not even the CP Rail rain set. Of course the train was a long shot. That should give you an idea to the actual date. 42 today. And this time, no health maladys. I got the chicken pox at 40, the flu at 41. I think I'm good to go...knock on wood.

OK, I have no idea how the word verification got put in front of my comment, please disregard "aeliyne". 4/2/66 is my day, I missed April Fools Day by 10 hours. (now to try the word verification again without incident).

Yes, the husky was the main reason I picked this shot. It's not the best shot in the world, but I grew up with Huskies, so have a special fondness for them!

We are very close to the same age. My b-day is May 18, same year. There are so few of us "Gen X"ers around, it's nice to have made your (virtual) aquaintance! And, remember, the answer to "Life, the Universe, and Everything" is 42, so this should be OUR year!
