101 Diner - Sequim

Our lunchspot today. The food was so so, but the atmosphere was fun.

Interesting that the jukebox would have a license plate from Virginia. The Old Dominion has the highest per capita rate of personalized license plates in the U.S.

Cool photos! Looks like a fun place to eat. (We don't really go to diners for good food, do we? Or do we?! I never know.)

No, we don't. It's all about the atmosphere and whatever memories you have of such places. For me in particular, these little Diners remind me of traveling around the West with my parents as a kid and on rare occasion stopping in some small town Diner for chicken fried steak and/or pie! I loved those stops becuase I never got to eat that kind of food normally.

You know, I always wondered what the song, "Louie Louie" was about. Apparently, it's about $8.95.

Sorry...terrible joke.

I really like your nostalgic shots at the diner. There is just something about all that chrome that is very striking.
