it's an 11 glass bear pileup in the tunnel on the 5 in middle of rush hour. Whatever it is - it's literaly brilliant. very nice shot. On yesterday's post - wherever did you find that pretty little mushroom (there are lots of Slavic folk tales related to those) & you've got a very artistic leaf/textured background in 2nd.
Ooh, I know, I know! If I've seen this once, I've seen this a dozen times on a television show. This is Ectoplasmic residue. Who you gong to call? Ghostbusters!
All very clever guesses! The winner of the realistic prize is DC (it is a light hanging down from the ceiling at work), however, a creativity prize must go to the rest of you as well. I was laughing quite a bit at these answers.
Tash: I actually found that mushroom in a little walk I took around the office buildings!
Yeah! I guessed correctly. So rare for me. This fixture reminds me of a beautiful tea light a friend of mine from Sweden gave to me a few years ago for cat sitting.

Cool! My guess is: a light fixture. But, bizarre.

A glass candle votive upside down!
Is it a wad of tin foil on a mirror?
Is it something you found inside a UFO?
It's an argument against cloning?
Really, I think it is an upside down reaction shot of a drop of some kind of liquid taken with a very fast shutter speed.

So, is there a prize for guessing correctly?
What would you like besides my undying admiration? Not that you don't already have that...
