Heading for Sledding

I took a break from working at home today to go to the Post Office and take a walk around the block.

Mission Accomplished!

Post Office Line. Yup, it's the Holidays! Not even icy roads will keep these people from mailing their packages.

Gorgeous! I especially like the ones of the trees. Very pretty.

And hello?! What shoes is the sled-pulling woman wearing? Is she insane?!

Long lines at the post office. Oy. I face that today... Pray for me.

Ummm, well, those shoes are what most of us around here are wearing. We Seattleites aren't exactly prepared for snow! The walking around here is treacherous for sure!

I love the 1st one. It's so charming. I looked up SCCC on the web. Looks like a lot of good people work there making a difference in peoples lives.

Aren't tennis shoes = snow shoes??
Well, if the snow was deeper there'd be a run on snow boots. I love to look at the ones with fuzzy tops but never buy any. We go skiing once a year for 3 days, no need for fashion snow boots.

Winterwonderland! Very wintery photos. So, did you barrow that kid's sled to slide down the hill?

tash: I think SCCC is a good school. A friend of mine used to teach there in the film making department. They have a great film program.

dusty: Nope, no sledding for me. Though my friend took a spin on someone's cardboard sledding down the street!
