Newly Washed City

This is the view from my room at work in the Smith Tower. Less than a month before we move and it goes away. So so sad.

Oh, this is a fabulous photo! I love the geometric screen in the window and the way it segments the buildings and sky. And the light is fabulous, too! Very nice.

I like all the activity & color on the buildings. I was just amazed by the amount of buildings going up in Seattle (did I tell U that already?) - when we were staying at the bottom end of Lake Union & we walked around, there was so much city noise (not bad noise, just a lot of it) & most of it was construction. So sorry you'll be moving. A few yrs ago we finally got a window along one wall in the sea of cubes. Makes a difference to be able to get up & see daylight.

I love the view and so sorry you won't have it any more! Great lighting.

d.c.: Thanks! I originally took it because the light was so nice. The chicken wire was an added bonus!

tash: There is a TON of construction. The cranes are everywhere (and, alas, the noise)!

prof: Thanks. I'll be sorry to leave it!

You can almost see my old apt! Just outside the right margin, I think...

I really miss THAT view...tho' not the actual apt (too small).

Dy: It is a nice view. It don't think I'd want to live down there though!
