LBJ's boyhood home

We stopped by Lyndon B. Johnson's boyhood home while driving through Texas since it was on the way. We also drove through Midland, Texas which is the home of Bush. Sometimes I think I should call this trip: "Maya's presidential tour of the U.S.!"

It looks so idyllic now. Probably no so in the early days.

Linda: You are right. I think it was a bit crowded back then!

Wow that's a lot of blue - and such a small kitchen. It does look small for the hub of the home, but maybe that is what made it cozy.

Love that photo of the kitchen! The colors were very eye-catching and soothing. Nicely done. Hope you enjoyed your presidential tour of the United States!

Cele: Somehow I don't this kitchen was the hub, but it was cute!

Janet: I did enjoy the tour... ;-)

Very pretty homestead. I love the stove - looks like a top of the line in those days.

Tash: You are probably right. It would be fun to cook on it, wouldn't it?
